In addition to its great terrain, Sun Peaks offers an entirely ski-in ski-out village, which makes it easy to strap on your skis and head out the door. The resort's array of offerings, such as guided backcountry tours and first tracks private lessons, distinguishes it from other BC resorts.

Three Mountains & 360 Degrees of Terrain

Steep runs through the trees, deep powder snow, and fresh corduroy to carve – you don’t have to look hard to find terrain to explore. With the three mountains, Tod, Sundance, and Morrisey encircling the village, there is always sunshine in Sun Peaks.

Sundance

Sundance is the perfect place for beginners and experienced skiers to warm up and fine-tune their technique. You can start carving your way through the freshly groomed slopes starting at 8:30 am and ease into your day of skiing.

You can put your abilities to the test at an in-bounds terrain park that caters to all levels of expertise. From novices learning to hit rails and boxes to expert jumpers searching for a bigger challenge, there's plenty of fun to be had.

Tod Mountain

Tod Mountain is home to legendary terrain, from tree skiing to steep groomers and an in-bounds, backcountry region known as Gils.

Adding 500 acres of deep backwoods terrain to Sun Peaks in 2014, the addition of Gils, which is on the upper slopes of Tod Mountain, now provides some of the freshest powder on the mountain. With the area now patrolled and under avalanche control, you can experience the adventure of untracked lines in a safe environment. Gil's is the place to go for daring skiers searching for adventure, particularly after a storm, when you'll have days of fresh powder.

Morrisey

Don’t forget to head over to Morrisey to what the locals call ‘the Laundromat’, where you will find ‘Lint Trap, Tumble Dry and Wringer’ that offer a mix of moguls, powder and fresh cord.
