Europe and Japan have been sitting on the bucket list for too long so I will have to change that! I also really want to experience Marmot Basin and the Jasper area.

I love being outside and active, especially with my family. Outside of ski season, you will find me logging hours on my bicycle or waterskiing.

So many great memories at each resort I’ve been to, to pick only one favourite is almost unfair! The Dolomites have stolen my heart with their amazing ski slopes, exquisite food, and lively towns that each have their own essence and culture. With 1200km of slopes, you have enough skiing to go back over, and over, and over again!

I continue to visit more European ski destinations every winter to bring back all the best tricks and tips to Skican so that our customers can have the ski trip! Next for this winter is Grindelwald in the Jungfrau region on Switzerland.

How Do You Like To Chill Out/ How Do You Spend Your Spare Time Outside Of Skican?
I spend most of my time on my mountain bike, trail running, and hiking in the summer and ski touring during the winter months. I can now do that with my dog Maya! Exploring my British Columbia backyard is my favourite kind of fun!

Revelstoke is home, and its terrain and snowfall are hard to beat. That said, Japan’s deep powder and a bowl of ramen after a day skiing is hard to beat.

I would love to explore Georgia and the Caucasus mountains. The high snowfall and rugged mountains are appealing from a ski perspective, and the ability to experience a unique local culture is part of the magic of travelling!

How Do You Like To Chill Out/ How Do You Spend Your Spare Time Outside Of Skican?
Skiing itself is my biggest pastime, but in the warmer months I spend my time mountain biking, hiking and losing at pickleball.

In Canada, anywhere along the Powder Highway! In Europe, Chamonix is hard to beat. There are endless adventures to be had, a vibrant village atmosphere, and an infectious energy shared by the mountain-loving locals. The Dolomites are another favourite, with breathtaking scenery, incredible mountain lunches, and the perfect setting to explore with friends.

Movement is super important to me, so I am often working out at the gym or going to a Pilates class. Being in Montreal, I have access to a great music and arts scene, so I spend lots of time with friends taking it all in.

Aspen Snowmass. There’s so much flexibility ski wise from the 4 different mountains you have access to. The food and night life scene is unparalleled. Highlands is my favorite mountain due to the vertical, skiable terrain and the sweet pow stashes!

Silver Star will always be home. Whistler is one of my all-time favourites after an epic 4 seasons of skiing there while studying at UBC. But my new favourite destination is Fernie, it is so underrated — no lines, great snow, epic terrain, and such a classic Canadian ski town 🍁

In my spare time you will usually find me at the gym or just relaxing at home and drinking a tea while reading a good book or bingeing reality tv. Otherwise you will find me cafe hopping around Toronto, at a patio for happy hour, attending a concert, or catching a flight somewhere ✈️☕✨

Two seasons in Banff and three winters hosting Skican's Japan Ski Escapes have made Jack an expert in Canada's Rockies and Japan's legendary powder.

Role at Skican:
I develop relationships and plan trips for my clients to the best ski destinations while providing outstanding customer service and expertise on the destination. My goal on my trips to is help clients create lifelong memories both off and on the mountain.

Been so lucky to visit lots of resorts (still plenty to go!) but Fernie on a powder day is pretty hard to beat.
