From après-ski to shopping to world-class dining, there are so many things to do in Whistler Village that you’ll never get bored. Here are our recommendations for great activities to enjoy on your visit to Whistler Blackcomb this winter:
1. Take in the View on the Peak 2 Peak Gondola

Up until 2017, the Peak 2 Peak Gondola held the record for the longest free span ropeway and it continues to be an engineering marvel — as well as offering a convenient way to go between the neighbouring mountains of Whistler and Blackcomb.
The gondola offers spectacular 360-degree views of Whistler Village and the surrounding mountains and forests, which are a must-see for both skiers and non-skiers alike. Guests can take either the New Blackcomb Gondola or Whistler Village Gondola to access the peaks, and can also choose from on-mountain dining options on both summits!
2. Have Family Fun at the Coca-Cola® Tube Park

If you’re looking for a great activity to enjoy off the slopes as a family, there is no better option than a visit to the Coca-Cola® Tube Park. Accessible via the Village from the Excalibur Gondola, the park is open for winter tubing all day and into the evening, when it is fully illuminated for tubing under the night sky.
The Coca-Cola® Tube Park features seven lanes and 1,000 feet of sliding fun, including a special lane for children under the minimum height requirement for adult lanes. Once you’re finished your run, a special conveyor will take you to the top for your next slide. Bring the whole family for some tubing fun!
3. Experience Natural Beauty on a Snowmobile Tour

Take a break from the resort crowds and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the landscape around Whistler with a guided snowmobile tour. A wide range of tour options are available, including private tours, family tours, dual rider snowmobiles, and wilderness adventure packages.
Children can even ride their own mini-snowmobiles on a specially-designed course! Customize your snowmobile tour to suit your particular group by selecting from a number of extra features, including gourmet meals in a rustic lodge or a nighttime run in the moonlight.
4. Go On a Ziplining Adventure with Ziptrek Ecotours

Are you a thrill seeker when you’re on the slopes? If you’re looking for a new kind of excitement, then you need to experience the sensation of flying through the forest over frozen creeks and old-growth trees on a zipline.
Ziptrek Ecotours runs guided zipline tours near Whistler each winter, where visitors can learn more about the wildlife and ecology of British Columbia rainforests, while zipping from treetop to treetop. Every tour is supervised by experts and offers best-in-class safety systems. It’s a great activity for couples, families, or adventurous groups looking for something new!
5. Relax and Unwind at the Scandinave Spa

While ski trips are a great way to have fun and experience some excitement, they’re also perfect to help you relax and unwind. If your muscles are feeling sore and achy after a long day on the slopes, then you should take a break and enjoy a treatment at the Scandinave Spa in Whistler Village.
The Scandinave Spa offers a relaxed and tranquil setting, where you can enjoy a soak in outdoor baths, get your sweat on in a wood-burning sauna or eucalyptus steam room, or receive a rejuvenating Swedish massage. One thing is for sure — you will finish your visit at the spa feeling like you’re ready to get back on your skis at 100 percent.
6. Journey Through an Enchanted Forest in Vallea Lumina

Vallea Lumina offers visitors the chance to embark on a magical journey through a mysterious valley, where the trees talk, stardust falls from the sky, and many other wondrous things can occur! Legends say that the valley was first discovered by two hikers, who left behind clues so that others may find the path to reach it.
Vallea Lumina shows run starting at sundown and you can reach the entrance to the valley via a shuttle bus from the village centre. The entire experience lasts an hour and a half and takes you through an undulating network of trails. Please be advised that the trip is not recommended for individuals with limited mobility, due to the terrain.
