Oh easy. Best powder day: Whitewater, BC. Most memorable experience with my son, Jasper, AB. Where I was during the COVID lockdown (and will never forget the calm and professionalism the resort showed to its guests): Sun Peaks, BC. Best resort hosts: Sun Peaks, BC (think Nancy Greene). Most pushing-the-limits-of-my-comfort-zone mountain experience: backcountry skiing at Whistler. Fav overall summer & winter destination: Silver Star, BC. Best location to kick off your season: Ski With the Pros, Panorama, BC. Best tree skiing: Steamboat, CO. Most memorable experience with my late father (Founder of Skican): Fernie, BC. Best resort to support growth in the ski industry: Chicopee, Ontario (making skiing & snowboarding diverse & accessible). Best southern hemisphere ski experience: Valle Nevado, Chile. Most breathtaking scenery: Zermatt, Switzerland. Best meal: Whitefish, Montana. Best après experience: Snowmass, CO. Best family ski memory: Red Mountain, BC. I’ve barely gotten started…the list goes on and on.
Where To Next And/Or What's On Your Bucket List?
Next winter I’m looking forward to experiencing the Dolomites (Italy) in January, and hoping to visit/revisit Schweitzer, ID, Telluride, CO, Revelstoke, BC. On my bucket list: Alaska, Japan, Norway.
